It’s a pleasure to tell that we are available in mobile web if you browsed us using mobile phone. It would have a simple and friendly look for mobile browsing. Simple makes it faster in loading speed, while friendly look gives easy navigation.
Why is in mobile web version ?
Simply, current gadget development progress opened this opportunity. Smartphone, BlackBerry, iPhone, and common mobile phone are enabled for internet browsing. More and more people use this option to get connected to internet, instead of using computer.
And, 3G with HDSPA connection gives a high speed connection and faster loading bandwidth.
These become a reason why many websites and even blogs are also optimized for mobile web version.
Our internal statistic supports and proves it. Symbian, iPhone and BlackBerry are on our Top 10 Operation System used, instead of Windows, Linux, and Mac-OS. And Opera mobile web browser is on our Top 5 Browser used list.
Those figures encourage us to create a mobile version for our blog.
There are several option available to make mobile web version. Either using third party which offering this function freely, or build it internally. But, with WordPress makes it even simple by using plug-in available.
So now, you could easily visit our blog anywhere, anytime, and by using ANY GADGET.
It’s good to be back. So glad to be back again.
After the last disaster or catastrophe (read: Houston, we got a problem !!!), this blog is fully recovered now. Of course, there were something lost, which mentioned on the previous post before. Most of comments and all blog statistics are gone.
All postings are retrieved back again. Luckily, we still kept backups on Windows Live Writer and our off-line back-up, so they could be re-published again.
Moreover, we switch to a new hosting place as well, which reliable hopefully. We don’t know about an access or loading speed, but you may always give us a feedback.
Learning experience?
Always backup the database and upload data regularly, and DO checking and verify it ASAP (Our database backup is corrupted, even downloaded successfully).
If you are aware, there are some new features on this blog. That’s right, we take this chance to review existing plugins and implement new ones such as, the Pandu social profile (left blog page), 125 x 125 advertisement slots (You are welcome to advertise, contact us for more info), and our Twitter update, which we think these would be useful, attractive, powerful, and suitable to this blog.
Last, we are sure the Pandu is stabile and ready to be fully operated now. We are welcome to your comment, suggestion, feedback, idea, and question. You could use all channels available.

It’s 2009 ! We made it !! Changes !!! Have a look …
I hope you liked new look of the Pandu. We looked for something difference in order to differentiate from others, out of ordinary !
The decision was taken yesterday, after there were many options available. We select Arthemia as a new look for the Pandu. It is still a default Arthemia with a minor change in the color. But, it is big changes to the previous theme. Many things are needed to be configure out again. Customizing posts & pages, deleting old and apply new plug-in. Editing css file for color, and try to optimize the theme. And it’s enough for the first phase.
Why Arthemia ?
Arthemia is well known as one of the best premium theme, and a free version is available.
Michael Jubel – the author, “Arthemia is combining a magazine and a weblog into one; it is not too magazine-ish nor too blog-ish.”
The best part is a tutorial was available to get it worked. The key is to read carefully, and follow the steps, not missed it – then your life would be saved.
Is there any homework for me? We have a re-edit the picture to make it in the perfect lay-out. Also customize it again into a great shape. And of course, keep posting, posting, and posting !!!

At first I never dreamt to have a registered domain like this before. I ever thought to get it from CO.CC for free, just like what I did for my other site. But it became the reason why I tried to get a registered one.
When I tried to register for free, the domain which I looked for was not free at all. I need to pay for it. Also when I searched for dot com (.com) or dot net (.net), this domain is already being registered by someone, although I still could buy it back.
Finally I looked for a dot ID (.ID) domain. Thanks to Mas Imam with an interested info how to get a dot ID (.ID). For sure, it’s really – really inspiring and encouraging me.
Honestly, I never thought it was so easy and simple. It’s purely an internet and electronic communication. Less than 3 (three) hours since registration and payment, an email was received from PANDI (Pengelola Nama Domain Internet Indonesia) – the Indonesian Domain Registration Authority, which is very nice in my eyes,
“Congratulation, your domain is approved and active now. You may start …”
And it doesn’t cost me a lot as a beginner. With IDR 25,000 (twenty five thousand) or around US $ 2.5, and a valid identity card, we could get a registered personal domain “.web.id”. Even .co.cc is expensive that it, and .com or .net as well.
Last, I do encourage and support you starting to consider to apply for .ID domain.

It’s really true. Don’t you want to know, do you? Why I choose this title. Now, I found out a good tool to prepare my blog post – off line. Last time, I need to keep on line when write down a post. Of course, I could use NotePad or Word as for a draft post, which I found not suitable enough.
First of all, I must give a credit to Mas Eko which keep my spirit and bring my motivation back. His post about Windows Live Writer 2009 open my eyes – it is the tool which I looked for.
Not only that, the portable or stand alone version which I downloaded for using is really – really a good tool. If Mas eko used an external hard drive, I decide to use a thumb drive (flash disk) as a media. Now, i could use on any computer as long as installed with .Net Framework.
This post is written down on Windows Live Writer already. It makes my day and what a great weekend !!
